A mountain rescue team were called to the assistance of a woman after she slipped and fell while walking the Coast to Coast route to Patterdale.
A 12 man team from Landgale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team attended the incident at 10.42am on Sunday May 29, where the woman had a suspected tibia fracture.
The team were out for two hours, in which the woman was evacuated by stretcher to a waiting ambulance on the roadside below.
