There has been a collision at the roundabout on J36 near Crooklands involving two vehicles.
The vehicles involved were a blue Citroen C2, driven by an 18 year old man from Bentham, and a silver Peugeot 508, driven by a 70 year old man from Kendal.
The Peugeot was reported to have been on its side on the central island, and the Citroen was on the road with its front damaged.

The driver of the Citroen was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary to be treated for minor injuries.
Police were at the scene and the road was cleared by 9am.
