SUPERMARKET giant Asda is recalling its '4 Vegetarian Vegetable Burgers' with a ‘best before’ date of 6 April 2017 because the products may contain pieces of hard green plastic.
It means the products are a possible risk to health.
The statement on the Food Standards Agency said: "It has come to our attention that there is a small risk of hard green plastic contamination in our Asda 4 Vegetarian Vegetable Burgers, with the best before date of 6th April 2017.
"If you have purchased some of the Asda 4 Vegetarian Vegetable Burgers with the above best before date, please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund.
"You do not need your receipt.
"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. If you would like any further information please contact 0800 952 010."
