A DALES village is once again preparing to celebrate life in the 1940s.
Ingleton will turn back the clock 70 years across the weekend of July 1 and 3.
Among the highlights will be a Battle of Britain flypast at 2.45pm on Saturday afternoon.
On the Sunday at 2pm there will be a parachute jump onto the village playing fields.
There will also be parades of marching troops and vehicles on Sunday morning.
Organisers have this year focused on transport with motorcycles, classic cars, jeeps, a Spitfire, tractors, buses and the Thwaites Dray pulled by shire horses.
And there are more stalls than ever before, family activities and vintage photography with costumes provided.
