SELSIDE Endowed CE Primary School, near Kendal, is seeking consent to build a new classroom.
The extra room is 'much needed' to free up the school hall for assemblies and indoor PE, according to plans lodged with South Lakeland District Council. At present, the hall is used for teaching.
A new admin office would also be created, as well as a secure play area for early years children with a colourful, patterned surface.
