Emergency services were called to the scene
A PENSIONER was involved in a collision in Grasmere yesterday (June 23).
An 82-year old male driver and an elderly passenger were found trapped in a Honda HR-V on its side.
Emergency services were called to Stock Lane at 3.52pm and firefighters rescued those involved.
The couple, who are thought to be from Ambleside, were then transferred to the care of paramedics having suffered minor injuries.
