As a retired nurse (and of the 'old' school of nursing) it saddens me to see how nursing, and sadly, nursing standards and the NHS have changed over the past 50 years.
Nurses and doctors are not appreciated. If there were less 'chiefs' and more 'indians', then more money would be made available to have more nurses on the wards and allow them to do their job.
I feel passionately about so many areas of the NHS and nursing in the 21st Century.
I'm putting pen to paper to tell you of the wonderful and professional care that my aunt was given, on Kentmere a few years ago, and 20 years ago a Dr McConnell was amazing when dealing with my mother's care.
We can't let politics and red tape interfere with these valued wards and hospitals.
