Person treated for smoke inhalation following kitchen fire at Askam-in-Furness
ONE person was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire at a house in Askam-in-Furness last night.
Firefighters from Barrow and Ulverston were called to the property on Saves Lane at around 10pm.
When they arrived crews found that there was a fire involving a range cooker.
Crews tackled the fire and used a large fan to clear smoke from the property.
