POLICE are appealing for information about a missing 41-year-old man from the Manchester area whose car was reported to have been seen in the Lake District.
Darren Merritt was last seen at an address in Leigh on November 1, 2015.

Cumbria Police were called on Friday (July 1st) to reports of a grey Fiat Punto found at Blea Tarn car park, Little Langdale, near Ambleside. It is not known how long the car, registered to Mr Merritt, has been in that location.
Mr Merritt has some medical concerns and may display some erratic behaviour.
Police are concerned for his welfare and appeal to anyone who has seen him to call Cumbria Police on 101. Police also urge Mr Merritt if he sees this appeal to let police know he is safe and well.
