A PASSENGER involved in a traffic collision on the A590 has been airlifted to hospital.
Emergency services were called at 2.33pm today (July 22) following a report of a three-vehicle road traffic collision at Swarthmoor.
The vehicles involved were a white Vauxhall Astra van, a Ford Transit, and a white Seat Ibiza.

A 58-year-old male passenger in the Astra has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.
There are no other reports of injuries at this stage.
The road has been closed in both directions and motorists are asked to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
