AN ULVERSTON business is celebrating winning its first industry award.

The Little Bathtime Company has been awarded the Best Buy accolade in the annual Green Parent magazine's Natural Beauty Awards 2016.

It was launched less than a year ago by mum-of-three Suzanne Higgins and the company has three ranges designed to appeal to children; a cherry-berry fairy themed range, a green apple dinosaur range and a tangy orange under-the-sea range.

"This is a massive boost for us as we are still a very young company," said Suzanne. "To have one of our products recognised in this way makes all the hard work and effort which went into creating the formulas and packaging worthwhile."

All ranges have a bubble bath, two in one shampoo and conditioner or hair and body wash. It was the cherry berry bubble bath that secured the Best Buy award.

News of the award comes as The Little Bathtime Company prepares to take its goods - currently stocked in gift shops and boutiques in the North West - to a wider audience.

This week it has appeared at the hugely popular Harrogate Home and Gift Show, which attracts thousands of industry specialists.
