MP Tim Farron
A MARCH through Kendal to protest against the planned closure of the Kentmere mental health ward at the town's Westmorland General Hospital has been organised by South Lakes MP Tim Farron.
He is urging residents to join him on the march setting off from Abbot Hall Park at 1.45pm on Saturday July 30. People should assemble at 1.30pm. The march will head through the town centre and finish up at the Birdcage at the top of Finkle Street.
“Come along to the march and show local health bosses how much our community cares about this ward," said Mr Farron.
