A 5-YEAR-OLD girl was airlifted to hospital after falling from a height of five foot onto concrete at her home in Grasmere, Cumbria, on Saturday (July 23).
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 4.04pm and the girl was assessed and treated for a serious head injury.
The patient was then flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough within 29 minutes, where she arrived in a stable condition.
