Colliers International sold the property, with associate director Haydn Spedding saying that the sale was one of a significant number of guest house sales in the Lake District achieved by the company.
"We believe that the outcome of the EU Referendum is unlikely to affect the tourism industry in the Lake District and Cumbria," Haydn said. "The industry has always enjoyed a robust presence having successfully steered its way through foot and mouth disease, flooding and the closure of the A591 and fuel crises.
"We are therefore confident that buyer interest in such high quality guest houses with solid accounts will continue to grow."
