A CRANE driver escaped uninjured when the machinery collapsed and trapped the operator.
British Transport Police were called to the West Coast Railway depot on Warton Road, Carnforth, at 11.40am on Tuesday.
A spokesman for BTP said: “Colleagues from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and the North West Ambulance Service also attended and a man was released without injury.
“The Rail Accident Investigation Branch have been informed.”
