A WINDERMERE underwear company has been named as one of the top small businesses in the UK.
Unibu, created by Shirley Crisp, was recognised in Small Business Saturday's 'Small Biz 100' for 2016.
The line features underwear that has been completely sourced and manufactured in Britain.
The company will now be among the select number of businesses to be featured by the Small Business Saturday campaign. It culminates in the UK’s dedicated day for small businesses on December 3.
"The British public has a great affection for small businesses and we continue to see that grow year on year," campaign director Michelle Ovens said. "Small Business Saturday is an exceptional example of collaboration and co-operation with small businesses teaming up in communities around the UK."
