FLORISTS from Morrisons are leaving colourful summer posies in locations across Kendal today for people to pick up and take home.
After a spell of changeable summer holiday weather, florists are hoping that the jolly posies will help brighten up Kendal’s week.
The posies are being placed in parks, bus stops and shopping areas for passers-by to pick up.
They are made from multi-coloured Germini, which look like big, brightly coloured summer daisies.
Jamie Nicholson, Morrisons Kendal store manager, said: "Our florists know how changeable the weather has been this summer and wanted to cheer everyone up.
"We hope that people who find these brightly-coloured posies across Kendal will pick them up, take them home, and enjoy having their little splash of warming colour in their house.”
