HEAVY rain forced the sports at the Barbon and District Agricultural Society Annual Show to be cancelled on Saturday.
The show got off to a dry start and most of those involved with the sheep judging had retired to the marquee for lunch before the deluge of rain in the afternoon.
The dog runners were not so lucky and had to endure the weather.
The children happily decorated plates, which were judged by the President and his wife Bob and Grace Lewis, before the weather made it impossible for the planned sporting events to take place.
