GRANGE-over-Sands Concert Club's next event is its Gala performance, on Friday, September 9 (8pm), at the Victoria Hall, featuring the Zelkova string quartet. The prizewinning foursome was founded at Manchester's Royal Northern College of Music in 2010. First violin Caroline Pether was a BBC Young Musician of the Year string semi-finalist in 2008 and the same year won the Chandos Young Musician of the Year competition. She is also co-leader of the Manchester Camerata. Admission at the door.
