MOBILE network operator EE plans to replace its 12.9-metre telecoms pole at Black Dyke Road, Arnside, and to upgrade the equipment.
South Lakeland District Council made no objection to the works, saying there would be "no adverse or increased harm" to the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The pole is located at an electricity substation in the coastal village.
