A 'Rock n Roll Dance Night' will be staged in Kendal Town Hallon Saturday (September 17) to help support a remote village in Nepal.
The Khiraule Education Health Trust is a small charity based in South Lakeland supporting a school and a village in the Khiraule Valley, a remote region in Nepal east of Everest.
On Saturday it will run a fund raising 1950s and 1960s rock n roll dance night featuring six-piece The Henry Graham Band. There will also be a bar and a raffle.

The doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets are available from the Brewery Arts Centre or on the door, priced £12.50.
Following the devastating earthquake at the end of 2015 the charity has built a community health centre based at the school, and the centre provides nursing and midwifery services. The fund raising event is to support the health centre and to pay nursing salaries and medical stock.
