K SHOES Male Voice Choir teams up with the Gospel Choir of Kendal's German twin town, Rinteln, on Saturday, October 1 (7.30pm) for a concert at Kendal's St Thomas's Church.
The Gospelchor was founded in 2000, is based in Rinteln's Johannis Evangelical Lutheran Church and has a repertoire that ranges from swing to gentle ballads via soul, funk, and blues. Kyra and Sven Rundfeldt took over as the choir's musical directors in January 2007. They also provide musical accompaniment for church services as a guitar and piano duet.
