'UNSIGHTLY' weeds, bushes and nettles around Carnforth railway station car park are 'invading' neighbouring gardens, town mayor Cllr Roly Parker told the recent meeting of Carnforth Town Council.
Town clerk Philip Charnley is to write to train operating company Arriva Rail North - also known as Northern - to ask them to tidy the land.
Meanwhile, Carnforth Town Council hopes to plant spring bulbs on a grass banking by the station car park owned by Lancashire County Council. Carnforth Rotary Club has several thousand crocus bulbs, councillors heard.
