Town clerk Philip Charnley is to write to train operating company Arriva Rail North - also known as Northern - to ask them to tidy the land.

Meanwhile, Carnforth Town Council hopes to plant spring bulbs on a grass banking by the station car park owned by Lancashire County Council. Carnforth Rotary Club has several thousand crocus bulbs, councillors heard.
