A MAN will be sentenced next month for committing a Kendal burglary and a drugs supply crime.
Shaun Kirkby, 28, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court via a video link in front of Judge Tony Lancaster.
He admitted the possession of alprazolam, a class C drug, with intent to supply it in Kendal on August 27.
At an earlier magistrates' court hearing, Kirkby had pleaded guilty to a burglary and theft of £50 cash at Low Garth, Kendal, on August 26, and the illegal possession of alprazolam at Staveley in July.
Christopher Evans, defending, said that although Kirkby was content to be sentenced immediately, he understood that was not possible due to time constraints.
As a result, Kirkby, of no fixed address, is due to learn his fate at the crown court on Monday, October 10.
In the meantime he was remanded in custody by Judge Lancaster.
