REFURBISHMENT is on the cards at Kirkby Lonsdale pub The Snooty Fox Tavern.
The ground-floor bar, restaurant and toilets will be refreshed, if plans before South Lakeland District Council meet with approval. Letting rooms upstairs will also be updated to "satisfy the needs of modern-day clientele".
Historic features at the Grade ll-listed coaching inn, on Main Street, will be preserved, such as an 18th century spice cupboard and panelled doors, according to plans lodged by Enterprise Inns plc, of Solihull.
