POLICE are trying to locate the owner of a dog which bit the hand of a 10-year-old boy in Kendal.
At approximately 3pm on Monday, October 24, the boy was bitten by a golden retriever outside Asda in Kendal.

Police say the animal was tied up but unaccompanied as it bit the boy who had gone to stroke it.
Anyone with information which may help find the dog's owner is asked to call Cumbria Police on 101 and quote log number 186 of October 24.
