A KIRKBY Lonsdale dog sitting company has been shortlisted for a national award.
Barking Mad is up for the Micro Business of the Year award at the Amazon Growing Business Awards this year.
The nomination comes after a year which saw the business expand its network to include more than 70 branches across the UK.
Richard Dancy, Barking Mad's marketing manager, said that it was a 'fantastic achievement'.
"The Amazon Growing Business Awards is the ultimate recognition for any entrepreneur or small business in the UK and we’re really proud to be shortlisted alongside some fantastic business minds," he said.
Since its launch in 1999, the Amazon Growing Business Awards has celebrated exceptional businesses and outstanding entrepreneurs. Previous winners include Innocent Drinks, Betfair, Lovefilm and Fever-Tree.
The awards ceremony will take place at The Brewery in London on November 30.
