AN AMBLESIDE event medical and training organisation has welcomed a new director.
Paul Wilmore has joined Mountain Trauma Rescue Services Ltd, which was set up 10 years ago by Nick Wright.
The business provides safety support nationally to outdoor events including triathlons, obstacle course races and many more including those organised by Red Bull and The Rat Race.
Mr Wilmore is based in Clitheroe but welcomes the breaks to Cumbria for business. He said: "Cumbria is nature's playground, and working in the natural home of the outdoor events market is a pleasure.
"The Event Safety Group has a wealth of experience including their work locally as well as nationally and I look forward to bringing my skills and assets to the group."
