Woman trapped in collision at Newby Bridge
Two fire engines from Windermere and Ambleside were called to a road traffic collision at Newby Bridge just after 5pm on Saturday (December 3).
On arrival, fire crews confirmed that two vehicles had been involved in a road traffic collision, and one woman was trapped.
Crews removed the roof and rescued the casualty, who was then handed to the care of attending paramedics.
Cumbria Police also attended the incident.
