Westmorland Gazette reader and keen fell walker Alexandra Woodward took this photograph from Three Tarns on her way up to Bow Fell on Sunday.
"Directly opposite are the Scafells, with Scafell Pike on the right," said Alexandra. "There are still big patches of snow on the fells and it was freezing yesterday."
