Westmorland Gazette reader Alexandra Woodward took this photograph yesterday from the top of Silver How.
"It shows Grasmere in the valley," said Alexandra. "The fells opposite are The Fairfield and Helvellyn ranges.
" It was another crisp day. The forecast is for warmer temperatures so I think the remaining snow will soon be gone.!
