POLICE are investigating an incident of criminal damage after an unknown person approached a red VW Golf and smashed the front windscreen before running off.
The incident occurred at around 10pm on Thursday (December 1) on Beresford Road, Bowness-on-Windermere.
Anyone with information should contact 101 quoting incident number 235 of December 1 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
