SEVEN new units at Dockray Hall Industrial Estate, Kendal, met with approval from South Lakeland District Council.
The site is 'between the River Kent and the Kendal-Windermere railway, and its flood risk is classed as 'medium', according to planning documents.
The blockwork-and-steel sheeting units are to feature mezzanine floors, roof lights, roller shutter doors and flood mitigation measures such as raised electrics and first-floor offices. Mr A Morris, of Morris and Selby Homes, Kendal, submitted the plans.
