A TEENAGE singer songwriter from Bolton-le-Sands has seen her music career take off over the past year, and has recently signed a record deal that will see her debut single released late this month.
In what has proven to be a massive year for rising star Amy-Jo Clough, 19, the talented musician has appeared with the likes of Pixie Lott, Little Mix and Scouting for Girls and has supported both Alexander O’Neil and Rick Astley.
She was also snapped up by the Incessant record label, part of the Universal Music group, and has her first single slated for a late January release: an upbeat, fun piece of R ‘n’ B, jazz infused pop on one side with a ballad, showing the sweeter side to her voice, on the other.
“I’ve always written my own material but since I got signed I’ve been co-writing which I’ve enjoyed a lot more than I thought I would,” said Amy-Jo.
Amy-Jo has been singing professionally since the age of 11 and has since gone onto become a regular performer at events across the north west.
