MORE than 320 people from across the country entered the second photographic competition held by The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail over the summer.

And organisers said there were some stunning entries in the contest, held to showcase the beautiful scenery around the trail, which first opened more than 130 years ago.

There were adult and junior categories, and many photographers submitted multiple entries.

The winner of the adult competition was Jon Rayner from Sheffield and highly commended was Dave King from Wigan. The joint winners of the junior competition were Khadijah Hafeji of Preston and Emily Robb from Kent.

A presentation evening was held in Ingleton, at which winners were presented with framed copies of their pictures.
