The chimney fire was in Backbarrow
A CHIMNEY fire was dealt with in Backbarrow yesterday (January 15).
Firefighters attended the fire, which involved a wood burning stove, on High Row at 12.43pm.
Chimney hoses and a thermal imaging camera were used, along with water backpacks and chimney rods, to put out the fire and check there were no further hotspots.
