A MAN and a woman from Kendal have admitted being involved in a plot to supply class A drugs to others.

Scott Barcroft, 38, and Coral Packwood, 26, appeared at Carlisle Crown Court today.

During a short hearing in front of Judge Peter Davies, the pair pleaded guilty to two charges. These were conspiring to supply both heroin and cocaine to others during a period of several weeks in August and September last year.

The court was told another Kendal man, 37-year-old Dominic Eve, of Stricklandgate, had previously admitted the two crimes.

Judge Davies heard that police had found drugs and paraphernalia at an address in Kendal on September 7. No other facts about the criminal activity were outlined in open court.

Judge Davies adjourned the case. Barcroft, of Rinkfield, and Packwood, of Broad Ing Crescent, were told they must return to the crown court for a hearing on February 2.

They, along with Eve and three men from the Liverpool area who have also admitted their involvement, will be sentenced in due course.
