POTHOLES and clogged gullies are continuing to cause problems in Beetham, the parish council was told.
Members heard that Cumbria county councillor Ian Stewart is sending “regular photographic evidence” to highways officers.

Cllr Bob Pickup reported clogged grids along the B5282 near Guard Hill Lane, standing water on Carr Bank Road, and a United Utilities manhole at Friar Cote Bridge giving rise to complaints.
Cllr Pru Jupe noted litter along the A6 and surrounding lanes, and Cllr David Clark said there were serious potholes in Paradise Lane and near the Kings Arms, Hale.
Cllr Chris Noble added that all grit bins in the Carr Bank Road area contained some grit, but the new bin requested had still not arrived.
