THE Bishop of Llandaff and his relation to Wordsworth and other Lakes poets will be the topic of journalist Andrew Wilson's talk at Dove Cottage at Grasmere, on February 28, from 2pm.

Mr Wilson, who now lives at the bishop's former home at Calgarth Park at Windermere, said: "In 1793 a sermon protesting against the French Revolution by Richard Watson, Bishop of Llandaff, provoked the most revolutionary of Wordsworth's political writings - a strong letter in defence and support of republicanism."
