I wondered if you may be interested in this picture of Waxwings that I took recently at Rigmaden Court near Kirkby Lonsdale.
We had 19 waxwings around for nearly four hours that morning trying to feed on the yellow rowan berries in garden next door.
These berries were being guarded by a Mistle Thrush that kept chasing them away. It was quite a battle but the Waxwings did manage to get a few berries before they gave up and moved on.
It was a real treat to see them and only the second time we have seen them at Rigmaden!
