WASDALE Mountain Rescue Team was called to two incidents yesterday (February 4).
In the first incident a party of three reported they had spent an unscheduled night on Scafell Pike and needed assistance to get off in the morning.
They subsequently met other walkers who were able to help them off without the team needing to deploy.
In the second incident the team was called to help a young man who had fallen on scree near Yewbarrow, suffering a laceration to his leg and having difficulty walking.
He was patched up by others in his party and walked off with assistance.
