A 33-year-old man has been sent to prison for drugs offences after being arrested in Windermere.
Carl Hodgson, of Birch Trees, Windermere, was handed three years and six months on February 22 at Manchester Crown Court after pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Officers from Cumbria Police arrested Hodgson after enquiries into two Manchester-based drug suppliers who were stopped on the A591 towards Windermere in August 2015.

A Cumbria Constabulary spokesperson said: “The sentencing is yet another example of those who look to supply Class A drugs within our local communities. We are certainly not a soft touch and our dedicated team will continue to work to ensure that drug dealers are behind bars and not on our streets.”
