CARNFORTH Town Council is to fly the flag on Commonwealth Day, Monday, March 13.
Councillors agreed to take part in the international event to celebrate the 'family of nations' by buying a Commonwealth flag to be raised on the day, at 10am. Tea and biscuits are to be served afterwards. The purchase of the flag was agreed unanimously.
