A RECORD number of frontline staff at Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) have had flu vaccinations this season in an effort to minimise spread of the infectious disease.
With 66.4 per cent of frontline personnel vaccinated, it is a record figure for the trust.
CPFT immunisation coordinator Jane Morphet said: "We encourage all our staff to have the vaccination to protect them from flu as well as to reduce the risk them passing on flu to others.
“As a Trust our services are spread far and wide across the county which makes reaching all of our staff challenging at times. The dedication from all of our immunisers has paid off. We hope this figure keeps growing, and our aim is to get it even higher next flu season.”
