THOUSANDS of pounds worth of items were stolen from a holiday home in Cartmel.
The property, located on Aynsome Road, was entered by force by unknown persons between January 7 and February 18.
Burglars gained access to the property through a rear garden.

Several attempts were made to enter the conservatory area, and entry was eventually gained via a side door.
The following items were stolen from the house
- a black LCD Panasonic television with stand,
- a Huma Foxsat Freeview recording box,
- a white Samsung LED 3D series television,
- a Sony mini Hi Fi,
- an original painting of a boat in a harbour worth approximately £300
- alcohol
- jewellery
The total value of items stolen is approximately £3,000.
If you have been offered for sale similar items in dubious circumstances, contact police.
Anybody with any information regarding suspects or knowledge of persons seen acting suspiciously in the area is asked to contact police on 101.
