A DISCUSSION between Farming Minister George Eustice MP, and Julian Smith MP is to take place at Skipton Auction Mart.
The event will include a speech from Mr Eustice, as well as a question and answer session.
Julian Smith MP said: "I am pleased that the Government has confirmed that current levels of agricultural support for farmers will remain until 2020. However, I also acknowledge that, in the longer term, farmers want greater certainty about what the future will hold for this vital industry.
"This will be an excellent opportunity for farmers and others to meet the Minister and engage in discussion on the matters that concern them and to share their views and ambitions for the future."
The event will take place on Thursday March 16 between 11.30am and 12.30pm in the Main Ring at Skipton Auction Mart.
