Children dressed as literary characters for World Book Day
Thursday is World Book Day, when many schools encourage their pupils to come to school dressed as their favourite literary characters.
The Westmorland Gazette is planning to run pictures from local schools as pupils get into the spirit of the event.
If your school is marking World Book Day in this way please send your pictures by 5pm on Monday, March 6, to andrew.thomas@kendal.newsquest.co.uk with brief details of who is in the photograph and which character they are portraying.
