Police are appealing for information about a two-vehicle collision which closed the M6 for six hours last week.
The collision, involving, a Suzuki Baleno and a BMW 520, occurred on the northbound carriageway, near to Burton-in-Kendal services at 7.15pm on February 23.
Five casualties, some with serious injuries, were treated at the scene by emergency services, before being taken to hospital.
The motorway was closed for six hours while police enquiries were carried out and the road was cleared.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or can provide information about the vehicles involved, to come forward if they have not already.
