TOP business leaders from Cumbria have been shortlisted in this year’s prestigious Director of the Year Awards, including Sue Coulson from Windermere’s Coulson Associates.

The annual ceremony, which is held by the regional branch of the Institute of Directors, is respected for recognising the incredible achievements of business leaders from across the North West over the past 12 months.

Sue Coulson has been shortlisted within the director of the year (small company) category while her Windermere neighbour, Impact International’s David Williams has also reached the final director of the year (medium company) section.

They are joined by Ross McMahon of Kendal Nutricare, who has been shortlisted in both the director of the year (medium company) and start up director of the year categories.

Claire Ebrey, NW Regional Director at the Institute of Directors said: “The awards are a public recognition of the key role that directors play, not only in our region’s economy but also in job preservation and creation.

“We congratulate each and everyone who has made the shortlist and look forward to announcing the individual winners on the 30 March.”
