RESTORATION work at a Lake District church has led to it being shortlisted in a prestigious industry accolade.
The annual RICS Awards have become affectionately known as the region’s property Oscars.
This year 42 schemes of all sizes and budgets - from all over the North West - are in with a chance of gaining industry recognition, along with the teams behind them.

St Cuthbert's Church in Kentmere has been shortlisted for the Building Conservation award following a sensitive yet comprehensive repair and re-roofing project estimated to have cost around £148,000. Delivered by Hyde Harington, John Coward Architects Ltd and Heritage Conservation and Restoration Ltd, the project has safeguarded the building's future.
All category winners will go on to compete against other regional winners at the national RICS Awards Grand Final in October 2017, for the chance to be crowned the overall UK winner in their respective category.
